Hey Bob please reply on this. You say $350? I have the paperwork in front of me and it says $565 for 5 years? If there is a dealer out there selling this same warranty for what you say please tell us because I have a couple of hundred customers for him!

Update on the Warranty issue. After looking at the pro’s and cons of this issue I think getting the extended warranty is a no-brainer. I figure I will opt for the five (5) year package.

Two points, first I am sure I will not keep this ATV for five years. When it comes time to trade and or sell outright I am sure the next purchaser will be very happy to get a warranty ($30 transfer fee). I am sure I will recover most if not all the cost here.

Also the dealer I purchased this ATV from has made it clear they want my business. Between family and myself we have traded two ATV’s and purchased 4 new ones from them in the past year (3 Sportsman’s and 1 Scrambler).

This is the second point; they told me not to use “Pure Polaris” for anything other then a catalogue. They said (and have) given my family 10% off all Polaris prices including now the extended warranty.

This is why when you price your ATV you have to also figure the support the dealer will give you down the road!

Before anyone asks, Pioneer MotorSport in Sardinia, NY (just outside of Buffalo) is where I do business. And no they don’t over charge up front for the ATV. They are listed on the Polaris “Dealer” list web site and I recommend any one within 100 miles of here checking them out before there next purchase.

There is also a difference in price on the warranty depending upon when you purchased it.

It is cheaper if you buy it at the time of purchase than if you buy it 5 1/2months down the road.

The more hours/miles/months you have it the more costly it becomes.
