Default Dealers are ripoffs!!!!

The dealer here where I am wanted $800.00 to fix the fuel pump on my 800. Hmmmmm isn't that funny, $1 a cylinder!!!!!

That's cool and thanks.. Isn't that insane on the price they quoted me.. I fixed it for about $150.00 with the labor.... LOL

I used a carquest pump and it was an exact fit.....

This is great info guys... but what about the fuel sending unit for a 07 800 efi? The stealer says a new tank asm is required to get the sending unit. Over 500 dollars. It aint pretty...
Can we just get the sending unit? Mine was damaged during a double rollover. It use to work great prior to that. I took it out but could not get it to work properly. I was not sure where to bend it back to and the entire unit has several bends to it so I did not know how it came from the factory. I tried to give it a bend where I thought it made sense but no results on the gauge. Gauge shows more gas than it actually has.

sounds lie the arm is bent to far down giving it a fuller reading w/ less gas. there might be a car(maybe like a nissan)type sending unit that will fit but it's like a trial and error to find it i bet>

check this out. some one has a fuel pump. for the 2011 its smaller im going get one too see

the price is about what an aftermarket cost, so it may turn out to be a good pump. keep us updated.
