today i moved the needle on mt carbarator up now it run better on the top end were problems was, but now at low rpm it doesn't have the kick? it used too. do i need to play with the airscrew? if so how should i turn it? also if it is idling in either reverse or drive it rolls? why is that? so i put it in neutral or set the brake. why does it do all that stuff? also a couple times today it backfired when starting? that is the first time it has done that..

Maybe try turning it down 1/4 or 1/2 a turn. I am not sure though.

What kind of temperature are you riding in? If it's backfiring it sounds like its running too lean. If you're riding in cold temperatures you will probably need to re-jet with a richer jet.

I also moved my needle to the top of my scrambler and the same thing happened. I think I might try putting it back down to see if I can get my low rpm power back up.

The pilot jet may be too lean for winter riding. You may be able to get enough fuel to compensate by adjusting the airscrew, but it may not idle that well.
