Looks to purchase a gunmount for my sportman. I do not want a scabbard type, I want the 2 "V"'s that mount to the front rack. Can anyone recommend a certain brand/type. I would like to keep install as east as possible. I thought polaris would have made a set with the lock and ride feature..
thanks,

Kline Motorsports on Hwy 61 in Maplewood MN carries 2 differant kinds (Fin Grips & Kolpin) but you will still need to drill holes to mount on front rack. Easier to mount on back rack as it already has holes to use. I modified the fin grips brand ($43.95) and used the lock and ride attachments ($15.95) so I could take it off in 2 seconds and install the lock and ride box. One would think Polaris would have come up with something but I guess not. Hope that helps.

Can you email me a pciture of the modifications you made.
So if you made them into a lock and ride, I could use them on the front rack as well.
My email is flper@verizon.net

Hey flipperz71
I have a 2007 Sportsman and modified a store bought gun mount to use on the front storage box lid. Did not want to drill holes in the lid so made an adapter to attach to the bungy connector rails. Sent a couple pictures to the e mail address that you posted above. Hope you can use the info.
