Default Rock/snow tires

Hi i'm looking to buy a new set of tires that can be used for both Rock and snow riding. I will be using the tires 35% in snow AND 65% in rocky areas i will also be using them on pavement roads. Can anyone recomend a good tire that doesn't get punctured easily. I want the biggest tire that requires no mods for my atv
Thanks

My Terracross R/T radials are nice. Had the 25" on my 500 and now the 26" on my 800. They plow snow very well and work great on everything I've found to ride on.

Which one do you think is stroger, the mudlite xtr or the terracross?

im not sure about the terracross, but the xtr's are a 6 ply tire. they have real good all round traction. i did get a side cut in one of mine when i hit rocks going way to fast(my fault not tires) and plugged it w/ plugs and slime. i have about 700 miles on mines now and they dont even have very much wear. i hear the terra. are real good in rocks so if they are a 6 ply (i think they are) then they might worth a look.

They are 6-ply. But they're probably not as good in mud as the XTR. I considered the XTR after already having the Terracross on my 500, but since I don't do much mud riding, I went with the Terracross again. They do very good on every type of terrain I've been on, lots of rocky area where I ride.

Good luck.

Does it matter if i get 12' rims or 14'? Do bigger rims affect the riding?

Bigger rims have less sidewall and are more prone to pinching on the rim in rocks. But the are more stable at higher speeds as there is less sidewall. Personally I like 12" better. Tires always look bigger with more sidewall
