Polaris Headlight Bulbs

Not sure speedy what you are saying. You have the upgraded bulb for the POD as well so now all three with the MODS are running
at a higher wattage. What are the syptoms? Will it kill your battery out on the trail? I would think it would only draw if you
put on HIGH BEAM right? So you could still leave it as your current setup?

The Pure Polaris xenon P2876464 is a direct replacement for the 886 and 894 bulbs which are used in the newer style Sportsman. I have the P2876464 running in all 3 lights. Yes the bulbs are blue, but it is a super white light that it gives off. I haven't run high beams out on the trail as i'm afraid that it will drain the battery down after time and I'm also concerned about cooking the switch with that much current going through it. They are bright enough that with just the low beam on that i haven't really had the need for the high beam anyhow.

I got them and they turned out to be wrong size to fit in the socket of the headlight. Had to send them back for credit. Guess I'll just use stock lights till I order or find another pair that are not so expensive and fit correctly.

Do the polaris xenon headlight bulbs also work in the POD? I have an 08 SP800. Has anyone had any problems running all 3 xenon bulbs? The 08 SP800 has a 500watt @6000 RPM stator. Not sure what it puts out at lower RPMs.

Yes, I did buy a pair but were not the correct set. The light plug would not fit correctly into the light socket of the headlights. I returned them and used a $16.00 light set (look like fog lights) that I purchased at Wal Mart and mounted onto the top of my front trunk. I just plug them into my cig lighter when I need them during night rides. The price is cheap and they work excellent.

I already have the Pure Polaris Xenon bulbs in the bumper lights. I take it that I can put the same bulb in the pod? Has anyone had an issue while running the the 3 light mod with all xenon bulbs?

To piggyback off of this has anyone have
any problems with the 3-light headlight MOD for
just the TWO bumper front headlights.
Also, is there an equivilent of these bulbs at
the auto store?
