I got a compact air horn from Harbor Freight for about $35 after the cheap ones from AutoZone wouldn't hold up to mud and water on the trail. After a year the air horn still works and it's plenty LOUD. Mine is wired to the yellow button, since my reverse override is controlled by a rocker switch on the pod. Horn is mounted on the frame under the front box next to the steering post above the tie rod on the right side of my 800.

The horn is a WOLO Bad Boy horn like this one in Northern Tool's catalog. I found it on sale at Harbor Freight. To use the yellow button for a horn button you'll need to do the Reverse Override Locker mod, but specify you want the rocker switch with momentary on when you order.

Hey Floodrunner,
I just bought two of those horns from Harbor Freight, they were $44 each. I even had the clerk
go research the price. If you have a circular with the advertised price, they told me to come
back and they will refund the money.
Anyways, it looks as if I need the long wire to connect to this device then to the battery.
What parts did you use for that as for the wire, circle leads and did you add a fuse connector?
Thanks,
R'

I put horns on both of mine. I love em. I ride with my kids, and sometimes they can get to far away to fast, and to signal Jeeps in front of me going up the canyon to slide out of the way. Go to Radio Shack and get a nice big red button to mount through the pod. I haven't needed to use realys to run the horn. They do fill up with junk if you like to take your machine through the river, and mud holes. I had to replace the horn on my 700, but found a louder one....it's a man thing.
