I took it to the dealer this morning - $308.00 later, the machine is up and running. What an expensive Life Lesson.

Don't feel too bad. The first week I had mine I rolled it over backwards and cracked a couple of ribs.

good price for the dealer to charge you, i have sunk a couple in my days, this weekend I rode across the south canandian river and hit some deep holes, after hitting one of these deep holes with you feet on the fenders or the racks it feels like it broke your wrist and neck from the jolt, but yeah even if you get you legs and feet wet , just keep them on the floorboards no matter what cause when you dont expect it ! Pow right in Hole you GO and its painful when a Yamaha or Kawasaki has to pull you out. LOL

Where should I start:
Drained Oil, Gas, Transmission fluids.
Pulled the plugs and crancked it over to get the rest of the water out. Replaced oil and transmission fluid. Drained oil again. Replaced. They also put some drying fluid (oxymoron) in the gas tank to clean out the gas line. Replaced Air Filter and Plugs. They basically said they did a full service on it that they reccomend after the first 25hrs of use. They told me that I wont need the full service one I reach the 25hrs but recommended that I change the oil again to remove the motor clippings. He said that should be something I can do myself.

Do you know where I can find an owners manual - Mine didn't make it through the fiasco. I am going to invest in some Zip Lock baggies as well.

Cool, glad to hear its all fixed and
seems like they gave it the proper work
up.

I think you can download the owners manual
from the Polaris web site. (.pdf file)

Thanks - I was able to find the PDF version of the owners manual. I don't suggest printing it since it is 143 pgs. I did save it in my favorites.
