Default starting problem

My 700 was running I went to unload it from the back of my truck and goosed it a little. It die and has never started again! It looks like I don't have a spark at the plug. It was working great no problems then it just quit. When it first failed it tried to start a couple of times and I thought I had flooded it. I let it set a few hours then after a few more tries it quit firing altogether. I was told that Polaris had a problem with the ignition system any body know what to do or check?

Possibilities from the experience department:

My brothers 04 600 Sportsman did the same. There is an ignition module under the front plastic by the steering stem that can go bad. We replaced it. It didn't fix it, but others have gone bad.
Check your coils.
My brother's trigger switch (pulse coil) in the alternator section, as well as the wires going to the alternator, were chewed up by the flywheel. Pulled it out, determined that it wasn't normal, and resoldered the wires and insulated. Seems that the little hold down tab came loose (or a prior owner goofed it up) and let the wires chafe against the flywheel. Started right up when we fixed it.
His "just quit" after he shut it off.

IF you find a bad ignition controller(cdi/coil) don't order one. I have a good one I'll send you. It was off an 02 as well. I also had an02(if memory serves) quit on a customer and found it to be the speedometer. We unplugged it and it ran, had no 4wd or reverse limit but the unit would start then. Ordered a new one and fixed it later. His speedo had water in it and I assume it was grounding because of the reverse limit circuit. I won't gaurantee the 700 is the same. Something to try without needing special tools.
