I have a 2006 Polaris Sportsman 450cc that I am looking to install a slip on performance muffler. No one seems to make a specific one for this application but here in lies my question.

What will slip on in place of my stock pipe? Something has to, but what? Please let me know if you have direct knowledge of a performance pipe that will slip on here in place of the stock one. Thanks!!!

 

A muffler that fits the 500 H.O. and 500 EFI will also fit your 450. The stock mufflers for these three models have the same part number. I'll try to find some mufflers for you.

Got a Scrambler 500HO and changed whole stock system earlier this year - what a difference!! Should be same for you.

If you can worth changing the whole system (pipes and muffler - pipes often baffled).
