I have the Glacier 1 setup with the 52" blade on it, but i don't like the way it sags so much in front. I don't really wanna put new springs and struts on the front end. So i was wondering about puttin sand bags or some kind of weight on the back end to even it out a lil' bit. Would this work very good??

I have a 700 and I went to Rural King and bought 3 bags of tube sand to put on my back rack. They are 70lbs a piece and not very expensive at all. It sure helped level it out and helped with handling in reverse with the blade on. Before I didn't have much control because the rear was too light. I might add that I also added more weight to the snow blade so that didn't help my issue with a light rear end.
I would like to find some old tractor weights or weight lifting plates and weld something up that would slide into the hitch in the back. The 210 extra lbs was just about right.
I have a problem with my blade breaking over more than anything. That was before I added more weight to it. Do you have issues with that? I would like to find some stiffer springs because even after tightening the springs as tight as they go, I still have the problem.
Anyone know where I could find stiffer springs for the glacier plow?

didnt highlifter make some kind of spring block kit or somthing that prevented the springs from sagging with the added weight of the plow? I plow with my John deere cause its fully hydrolic 60" blade no need to get one for my wolverine but I remember hearing something about a fix like that
