Scrambler 400 Reverse Limiter

Scrambler 400 Reverse Limiter
I have a 2000 Scrambler 400 4wd. The machine will start up and run perfectly for a while (10-30 minutes), then my problems begin. The engine will not rev up, at any trottle, it just goes "ba ba ba ba ba" and minimal power is transfered to the tires. After letting the machine set for a while I can fire it up and it will run like a champ until it acts up again. I went to my local dealer and described my problem to them, and then called another dealer and got the same answer. The Reverse Limiter Module (Polaris part #3060524 Limiter -RPM, HUB, Ground, LR83-1) is bad. The box is only 109.19, but if i can by pass it and it will run like a champ I am willing to do this. SO my question is, by bypassing the reverse override with a bad limiter module work, or will the module still cause the engine not to rev up, and by bypassing this will I still have 4wd in reverse. I have searched on this site and found a little information on bypassing the switch, but nothing if this works when the module is bad. Any information would help, including schematics and instructions on bypassing the reverse override. Thank you.

You can bypass the box by unplugginng the black wire off the box you will still need to hold the button for 4x4 in rev.
Sounds more like you need a topend.OUR Trailblazer acted the same way it even showed decent compression when cold but dropped when it was hot.Topend fixed it.ALSO check the secondary ramp buttons belive me they can do this too.

So by bypassing the Module I just do without it and have no need to purchase another one? Will this affect anything else on the machine? Nothing else is affected by the module that could not be working because it is bad? And all i have to do is disconnect the black wire?
