Heated grips
It's starting to get cold here in the midwest. I was planning on purchasing a seat of heated hand grips from Cabelas this week.
I have read alot of posts where guys are hooking them up to their head lights. When I take my pod off which wire (color) am I looking for?
Does anyone have a suggestion where to hook them up other that the headlights? It would be nice to have the heated grips when I don't feel like having the headlights on.
Thanks

The ATV winter pak from Cabella's (cheapest I found) is a very nice setup and I hooked mine up to the accessory wiring. It goes on and off with the key, doesn't require anything else (lights) to be on and there is plenty of capacity. Follow the directions exactly with the WD-40 and you won't have a problem (make sure you heat them up first too).
I love 'em for cool days in the fall set on low - for plowing set up a little higher and even to warm my hands on high in the evening after sitting in the deer stand all day.
The thumb warmer is a gotta have also.
