1996 300 xplorer 2 stroke...NEED HELP
i just got a 1996 300 xplorer 4x4 2 stroke, this is my first polaris. i got it home and was doing some visual inspections, popped the plastic off the right side, looking there i noticed a small gas line running from the bottom of the carb (just guessing, overflow) down to a nipple just above the dipstick on the transmission, deciding to drain the transmission i got mostly gas from it, probably 90%gas 10%oil. i'm really concerned about this, can anyone explain this? also what fluid can i use to put back in the transmission?
thanks, Greg

The tranny vent runs up by the carb I would say someone put it on the overflow instead of the 2 hoses with the check</end quote></div>
Could you explain where the tranny vent hose runs to a little better so i'll know where to put it?
