Has anyone noticed that their seat doesn't stay in place very well while riding? Mine continuously comes out of the slots at the front where it is supposed to be secured. It's like the latch at the back is too far rearward allow the whole seat to sit back too far. Is this a unique issue to me? Thanks.

 

I have an 07, but no problem there.

 

I have an 08 800, can't report yet, haven't even logged a mile yet, still in the middle of a plethora of mods, but this should bump it back to the top, I'm interested. Did you try bending the cadmium-coated gold latch retention bar forward? It may make it more difficult getting the seat on, but may do a better job keeping the seat in place.

Yea, me too like SpudR, only it rode it twice and they were VERY short rides.

no problem at 175 miles on my 08'. make sure the front is pushed all the way in and then look at the latch to see if it lines up correwctly w/out having to pull it back a little.
