I have a 2001 trailblazer and explore 4x4 and just wanted to know can I just put on a pipe like hpd and not put on a clutch kit? If I don't put on a clutch kit will I hurt the stock clutch. I just want a little more power but I do not want any radical clutch ingagements. I like how it is now just want more power out of both 250's....

thanks

Sure can, it's add alittle more peep. The major thing I noticed with the clutch kit was a wheelie came easier, by just hitting the throttle. Pipe on a scram adds 9 hp's, 250 I beleive is around 6 or so.

Are you talking about a slip on or a complete exhaust pipe and silencer. And what brands do what to a 2001 scram 500 4x4?

HPD Trails Pipe w/ stock silencer(to kept the noise down). 4s, I don't know. My 00 2x4 400 Scrambler is what I have. I'm in the review process now looking for a good cheap pipe for my DS.
