Polaris front drive

I have a 2004 Sportsman 700. The front drive locks when back wheels spin weather it is in 4x4 or not.
I have disconnected the power wire to it and it still does the same thing.
Any suggestions?

Try Changing the oil it takes the polaris hub drive fluid, if that doesnt do it you have broken the plastic cage in the front hilliard clutch.

Thank you. I have changed the oil. I didnt want to take it apart until I had some idea where I was going.

your roler cage sounds like is broke.
