Why so cheap???..............Where is it located??...........You look like your a Honda rider?.......Is it yours?..................Caper.................

 

From what I can tell looks like a purty nice deal. Plow system alone(with winch) I think wld count for 500-800 of the cost, helmet what 50 bucks ramps 50-100 gun holder no clue about that but wld say at least 25-75. so only 2000 for the bike with that low of miles on it I say GET IT!!!!!

I know NOTHING about the Sportsman other what I have read here. It doesn't look like it's a EFI, do I have to worry about anything in this regard ? Also, are there any 04' recalls or problems I should check into ?

Think i wld jump on it. Some one is prob in trouble and needs to pay off the loan.

 

The ECM was a issue in 2004....But that would not hold me back from a deal like that!!!!......It may have been updated with the new one anyway.........If not the dealer should cover the recall anyway!!!.......................That's a very good deal.............It's not stolen ??........Is it............They have the paperwork to go with the quad??..........(ownership)......Caper............ .

 

I shot an email off as soon as I found the ad, it was just listed today.

Hopefully I'll hear back soon and I can get the details. I'm guessing like the poster above some need to pay off the loan ASAP. But who knows ??


Caper, please tell me more about the recall and the dealer possibly covering it ??

Well they had some issues with the ECM(electronic control module)...in 2004/2005 models.........The Vin number you have will tell you if this Quad was in the recall.......Just do a web search for Polaris recalls and see if you can find anything there!.........I replaced two on my 2006 Sp 450 so far ......But don't let that hold you back.................I have two 450's both 2006 and my wife's is still on the Factory one!!!..............I think the recall was for oerheating back then ......You can find out more info on the web!!....Hope that helps....................If it listed there the dealer will cover it under the recall if it was not done already by the owner..........Which you can ask him also.........He will tell you if it was replaced in that quad!!..........

sounds too good to be true to me - I would steer away from it. I just bought a plow for my truck for grand and I thought it was a great deal. Took it to have installed by a freind and it needed over $800 of work - it getting put on tomorrow. If it seems too good to be true............it prob is too good to be true.

Ever since this - I will always buy brand new - If i cant afford it, I wont get it - I may be crazy but at least I will know what I will be getting.

Im not into buying other peoples problems anymore
