Default Glacier Plow System - need help!

I just recently bought a new Gen 1 Glacier Plow System to go with my 04 Sportsman 500 HO. I'm having a hard time getting it to latch on. Can anyone help me with this?

Snow is piling up!!!

What part isn't working? Blade to pivot/plow frame -or- plow frame to mount plate?

Default Glacier Plow System - need help!

I had the same issue with mine about a week ago. It seemed not to be lifting enough for the pin to go in the hole, so I just kept on the winch even after it seemed like it was all the way up & it popped in. The plow frame fits VERY tight in the mount, but it goes easier after you attach & remove it a few times.

I can't get the latch to to latch on so that the locking bolt hole will line up. The holes overlap 1/2 way

sounds likle the problem I'm having. The mount bottoms out with the plow but the holes won't line up

Just lift it a little further with the winch until the pin pops in. I thought mine was bottoming out with the mount too and I thought I'd break something if I lifted it any higher with the winch, but I lifted it a little more and it popped in. The Glacier 1 mount/frame are rugged. Goes in a lot easier now.

Be sure your blade is pushed all the way back FIRST so that the little lip is fitted all the way in. It's hard to see because it's under the front end a little ways.

It may be crimped closed a little if you hit a rock or something over the Summer.

THEN lift it with the winch like others have suggested. You manually should try to twist the pin in OR lift it hard and it should latch in.

I'm glad you got it to work!

I'll give it a shot! Lift her higher...hmmm. Looks like it's as far as it goes but I try again.

Just bought this system a week ago and haven't been riding it anywhere rough. So that is out. I've checked where the rear pivot goes and it's as far back as it can go. I guess I'll have to try lifting it some more with the winch. Thanks for your help.

How close are the holes to lining up? Mine were only off by about half the diameter of the hole
