96 sp 400 front chain.

Default 96 sp 400 front chain.

whats the secret on getting the chain on,im having a hard time getting it aronund the sprocket not much room between the sprocket and the frame.

someone has done it i hope...help

split the chain at the master link.

it is , having a hard time getting it around the front sprocket its so tight between sprocket and the frame if it will go i will keep trying tommorow after work.

loosen the eccentric and roll it back away from the frame

thanks for the help, i now see what to do and how it works the only problem is the bolt to loosen it the head is rounded (not by me) and cant get at the nut below just out of reach of the socket (doesnt line up with the big hole) so i couldnt get it loose i guess i will take it in let them deal with it.

thing that sucks is it was a new chain on there...guess i wont be plowing hard into snow banks anymore.

Dont give up try a few things first.like grinding the head off the bolt to get it out and replace it

I might be able to get the sawz all and a metal blade inbetween and cut the bolt might take a while and a few blades will check it out this week.
