2001 Xplorer electrical problem
Riding my '01 xplorer 250, my gear indicator light went out, and my kill switch would not work. I killed the engine with the key. When I turned it off, it would not start back up with the key. No click of the solenoid, nothing. Lights work. Manual start works fine. Battery is fully charged.
Any help out there? Is there a main fuse/breaker somewhere?
Thanks,
Ken

Ken,
I just recently read a thread on a similar problem. The thread is called "Where's the Breaker?" dated 12/12/07. Search for it and read what these guys are going through. I remember it was the solenoid but not 100% sure. There is a fuse located somewhere in your Quad that might be blown. These guys are trying to see if it this first. Because the drawings and location of the fuse varies they're having difficulty finding it. Give'em a yank and they will help you out.
Hope this helps steer you in the right direction. Good Luck!
