Thanks! I couldn't pass on it. new with the mount and everything. Got it for 319.00 and 20.00 shipping/handling.

I've read a lot on here about cut-outs. I assume it's the solid peice you have to take out to install the winch. Any advice here?? Not to fired up about cutting on this thing yet. Does the entire winch show or do I only cut out for the rollers??

any help would be much appreciated!

if your sportsman is an 05-08 go to your dealer and buy the front panel that is already molded for the winch to fit through. its only like $5

they are real easy to cut out if you have a dremel tool, I did mine in about an hour, it looks ok, check out my pics....my dealer wanted allmost $50 for the panel.

If you could find one for only $5 I would definitely do that....................

you cant get a panel for 5 bucks - send me the info - I will buy everyone he has for that price

goto the warn website - the RT and XT are center drums and the Polaris cut out panel WILL NOT FIT they are for offset drum winches only. You will have to cut it out yourself - its not hard to do. I will do it for you for free OR I can make a template from mine and send it to you. Check my pics - just the rollers show

Pics look great brutus, but now I'm worried. The 2" strip (that looks like an insert/grill type thing from the factory) is all I have on mine. Am I going to have to cut out the top peice that has the POLARIS part also??? The piece that says POLARIS is a single peice and I'm not crazy about cutting it!!

what 2" peice are you talking about? You shouldnt have to cut into the the Polaris emblem. Do you have a picture of what you mean?

What year is your sportsman?
