Default Need Help Quick

I need help figuring out a vin number. I bought a 2002 sp500HO with a bill of sale and I am selling now and I cant find the bill of sale I had and there are a few numbers and letters of the vin that are unreadable. I think though that since they are the 1st few they may be the same on other 02's. So here is the vin if anyone can help me figure out what the rest may be. Thanks

4XA--5-AX2A550838. Ok, so the first dash is completely unreadable, the second dash maybe a n,w,or h. and the last is either a 8,6,or 0. Any help would be great. Thanks again

The first 2 are ch. I added what I figured the othe digit is and came up with a valid vin on Polaris' dealer page. I'm not posting names, locations etc but if you send me a pm I will let you know what I came up with.

The vin is stamped in the frame in various location throughout the years. It's usually on the left lower frame rail for the newer 4 wheelers. The motor has a vin on a sticker, not stamped and it's the same as the chassis vin(although on guy posting here on another thread said his were the same, chassis and engine) which I have yet to run across but it's possible.

A factory service manual will tell you what you need to know on vin numbers
