Default Primary Clutch Sqweek

Ok, with my 2004.5 sp 500 HO there is a sqweeking sound comming from the primary clutch. The noise only occurs in the winter when it is idling while the engine warms up. After the machine has been ran a while the noise is for the most part gone. I would say that you can hear the sqweeking sound about 25 feet away so it is kind of loud. It must be comming from the primary clutch being it only makes the noise at idle. This noise was happening last winter but it was not as loud. 223hrs, 1355miles clutch cover has never been off and motor mounts are ok. Any idea's? Thanks in advance.

Try a new belt. While you have the cover and belt off start it and see if the noise is still there
