reverse override button
#1
I thought it might be my override button, I put a new switch, $109, on and it still wants to do it, do I need to hold the button in, the entire time? New to the polaris thing and I learned real quick how to change the starter, the old one reversed it's polarity on me?? don't know how or why but it happened. I read a lot of the problems that it posted, and in the short time I/ve had the polaris, I know what they are talking about, any advice on the reverse button, is it smart to override/by pass the button and which wires do it, i think the purple one does it, but not for sure, any way to buy a new plug for those wires on the left handlebar?

the override button is for reverse only and you dont have to use it to back up if your going slow. unless you have an awd you need it in reverse to have the awd to work.

As to "do I have to hold in the whole time" on my quad I have to hold the button the whole time if I dont it sounds like **** cuting out backfiring (or sounds like it) I may go backward more aggresive then others, but yes I have to hold it the whole time. That is all I got!

its a safety feature as the wheeler will back wards about as fast as it does forward.
