Default Cyclone or 250

Alright I just got off the phone with Rick Ritter, He thinks I may have a cyclone engine on my 3 wheeler. Its the 86? Scrambler 3 Wheeler and the seat says 250r/es. Now I've always been under the assumption it was a standard 250 like the trailblazer. Rick thinks the clutching is already beefed up and the cylinder's already ported, but seein that i don't have another 250 motor to compare too, what is something I can look for to tell if its a cyclone or not.

The intake boot accepted the 38mm carb with a good squeeze, does a standard 250. and i piped it so lookin at the old pipe or carb won't help because i don't have them anymore. Need some help, before i go buying clutch kits that aren't even as good as my stock clutch kit.

and hubs, where can i get affordable rear hubs when my bike isn't on anyones list of bikes they stock parts for.

Well, I have a cyclone and had a Scrambler 250 the same as yours i would guess. I'm not sure of the year of our scrambler but it had an electric start and my cyclone does not. Other than that.. They are basically the same thing.

Cyclone head and cylinder will have a -2 for a suffix.

Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!
