Buddy has an 04 400 Sportsman, another has an 06 800, we removed the stock 800 springs and put MV7 springs on the 800. Are the stock 06 800 springs any hevier duty than the stock 400 springs? Reason I ask they both look the same, same amount of coils, did not want to put on 400 and not make any difference. I know that the 06 800 springs are alot softer than my 07 800 springs. I have no nose dive whatsoever, any thoughts before we switch and it does not make a difference. Thank's, Hoov

you can check part numbers to see if they are the same. but it might be a differnt gauge spring w/ a differnt spring rate which would make it heavier duty then the 400 one.

Thank's Sten, I appreciate the info the 04 springs are 64-113# springs and the 800 are 75-111# springs so they look to be of hevier gauge.
