Default Helpful tips on replacing a tire?!

My Maxxis BigHorn 26x12/12 tires are due to arrive today for my 08 Sportsman 800HO and I'm looking for any tips or advise on how to get the old ones off and the new ones on without damaging the factory rims OR the tires.

If necessary, I can use a sawsall and a dremel cutting wheel to get the old tire off, any suggestions getting the new one on? Is it easy or hard? I have lots of dish soap...

Much appreciative of the help.

bobbles is right take it to a shop, I tried the sawsall and cut into the rim and had to replace the rim, it was worth the small cost for the shop or you might buy those small tires changer through harbor freight, might be the same price for the shop costs

It can be done by hand and a few pry bars, but the tire shop way is the way to go. It is down right a pain in the butt to do it by hand by the time you get done doing them by hand you will be kicking yourself in the butt for not taking them to the tire shop.

The last time I changed an ATV tire of any size, I said it would be the last!! You will need ALOT of beer or your favorite beverage. Send the kids upstairs or out of hearing distance so they won't learn any new words. Then get started with a sawzall, ALOT of dish soap and I used a few ratchet straps to tighten down in the center to push the beads out so they will touch the edge of the rim and catch the air, or you could do like a buddy of mine did and put alittle ether in the tire and light it ( NOT RECOMMENDED YOU DO!! ), his eye brows still haven't come back.
