Front diff input shaft seal (leak)
thats a good question. wonder if the leak you see is that fluid or the front end fluid. ill have to make sure i check mine this spring real carefully. make sure get the right fluid made for the adc and replace it before it gets air bound if it can. not sure if it can or not.

Mine was on my observation. The day after I bought my X2 I expected all. I change myself the front fluid to be sure there was the right fluid. So I change it for the LT FLUID. I notice there was a leak at the same place as sheepdogMSP8117. Just a little leak. I clean it and none come off since.....but it was on my observation. I know HILLIARD don't said the same amount of fluid as POLARIS said for the front diff. Maybe there to much pressure in there????

The parts guy was nice enough to print out the whole section of the manual for me to take home. They may be idiots, but at least they're nice.

When i red that I almost fell out of the chair LMAO.
What was the month of manufacture when the ADC started showing up on the SPMN. Mine is an 07 and it does not have it?

stendori....
On the HILLIARD spec....they said 5 oz for the front diff. POLARIS said 9.3 oz for the diff with ADC and 9 oz for standard diff on my 2007 x2 owner book. So who got the good one....I think....but is my guess, there could be pressure build up but is just my guess.....I don't know why POLARIS don't stick with the HILLIARD spec ????

My front differential didn't even take 8 ounces before coming to the bottom of the threads. As far as the difference in capacities, the ADC front differential has more room inside to account for two clutch packs and ADC pump cam plate and armature plate that is absent on the non-ADC front diff. That's what I figure anyway.
