Alexandria Tech in Minnesota is a good school. I know three ATV/Powersports mechanics that went there and all work at good ATV dealerships. For myself, my training comes from the U.S. Army, 6 years as a tank mechanic working on everything from 1500 hp turbine engines in the M1A1 Abrams to single cylinder diesel engines in Army generators. Got me a job at a dealership while I went to college.

 

her in oklahoma the state doesn't require a licence to be a machenic, i was just wondering if it would be worth going to a tech school. i am pretty well machenically sound and was just thinking of trying to make a little money on the side. i really thank you guys for all ya'lls input.......................shea.................. ..
