Default Hauling in a pick up

I know the rear window can be a source of problem. When I load I roll the rear window down. That is one great feature on the Tundra... Power rear window. Then once I have the machine all tied down I roll the window back up. There is a 4X4 in front of the tires to keep the front from hitting the roll up cover frame.

I have found the best way to strap my 800 in is to hook into the holes on the underside of the floor boards then hook to the tiedowns in the corners of the bed. By strapping it like this the straps have very little downward pull so the suspension compresses just enough to keep it from bouncing but not enough to make it dangerous to release the strap with alot of load. Had quit a few brused fingers from releasing. This both pulled the quad forward and backward so it cant roll either way. I have never had a strap come loose, get cut, or brake from a harsh jolt. Doing it this way the only place the strap makes contact with the quad is the sides of the tire.
