Default From warn 2.5 to rt25

I have a "Polaris" Warn 2.5 ci that I took off of my 05 800. When I put the rt25 in the same mount I had to use the other set of holes to move the entire winch about 1 3/4" to the right (as sitting on the seat) to get the front bumper to line back up. Just FYI. Learn from my mistake.

the RT25 is a center drum winch, while the 2.5ci is offset winch

So if I move my new "Polaris" Warn 3.0ci from the front to the rear to install a new Warn XT30 on the front, am I going to run into the same problem? I'd rather learn from other's mistakes than make my own...

Yes, its not really a problem though. There should be 4 other holes about 1 3/4" to the right of the current 4 holes the ci is bolted to on the mounting plate. Just use those holes and you wont have to take it back apart because the bumper wont fit like I had to. Just trying to save you guys a few minutes of disassembly then reassembly. Yes as stated above the rt/xt are center spool and the ci/ce are side spool.
