Default question about sportsmans

ok i am looking into buying a sportsman soon after i sell my scambler but i just read a few topics about the clicking awd and stuff. i drove a few but never drove ehm that hard. iv heard that if you spin the back tires alot and they spin to much faster than the front the front will kick in? is that true. that is stupid if you ask me. you would never be able to do a donut on the ice or anything? wouldn't that do damage if you were spinning the back tires and all of a sudden the front just clicked in? I would think that that would tear up all sorts of stuff. is there any downfalls to the sportsman besides that? thanks.

If you wanna sit there and do donuts you need to take it out of AWD and put it in 2 WD..

yea i know that but some people are saying that in 2/4 if tehy spin teh tires to much in the mud or something it will all of a sudden click into 4/4 even to the switch is still in 2/4 how many people have this prob is it easy to fix is it not a problem but just how it was dezined. how much work and money does it take to fix this if you do it yourself?

Could it be because your rear wheel speed is much quicker spinning on ice than in mud?? Just an idea...

I've heard of a story where that happened but not sure why but it was on ice....I thought the excessive wheel speed had something to do with it but not sure..

I'm not saying that it's supposed to happen.. Sounds like an electrical malfunction..
