I JUST CHECKED MY ECM.......MINE HAS THE GREEN DOT !!! yeeee hah

I have the 4011110 ecm and received a letter BUT according to the Polaris to dealer service bulletin any affected 4011110 ecm that HAS this green dot DOES NOT need to be checked and DOES NOT need to be replaced ! Caper and all you other guys ....check for your GREEN DOT. It is on the top of the ecm on the left side (drivers side if you will) of the unit in the corner. Its real easy to find without removing anything.

Im going to call the dealer and discuss it anyway but it looks like I'm OK

How can you tell if your recall work is done I just received new recall notice and my numbers were in the first one. I have a 600 twin 2005. I was told the work was done when I bought it but I don't know.

if you go to any dealer and give them the vin number they should be able to look it up and tell you if the recall has been done becasue they record all of the repairs of any bike doen by a dealer.

They are supposed to put 2 green paint dots on your ecm if it passed.

I have no green dots. My dealer originally said mine was okay. He now said after showing him this topic I need to bring int in for diagnostic checking. ????

Thank you all

your dealer sounds a little wishy washy. I would print out the link above, bring it to him and make sure he does it. better safe than sorry.

I got the letter and now the wife can't find it! Good to know though that
my dealer can look it up. Okay you all, did you replace it yourselfs or
can the dealer send you the part? My dealer is 2 and 1/2 hours away.
Please advise, and thanks!
