Question here...To follow up on some others posted......
1. Are your Three lights on when the engine light comes on?
2. Are you at idle?
3.If yes to these questions.......You may just be causing the Battery to drain low enough for the warning to be displayed!!!...............Caper..........

also i thought is if the battery /charging system has alot of pull on it, it will kick the engine light on as well.</end quote></div>
this is why i typed that thinking the same as you maybe an overload. see great minds lol.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

I dont ever leave all three lights on at idle because I remember reading that it could overload the charging system at idle in the directions. I only use all three when cruising and most of the riding I do is during the day also.

it's a gear position switch, had the same problem at work, called polaris, said that this happens all the time, nothing you can really do about it, on this machine it was when i went from high range to low range slowly. thats the only way i could get it to throw the code. even swapped switches, still did it. as long as it's only doin it intermittently, it should be fine.
