I remember reading that it was a pretty common thing for a while. Some got them replaced by the dealer, under warranty, and those would fog up as well. I'm guessing they fixed it on the later models, but never heard if they had a fix for the ones that it seemed so prevalent on.

The parts lists have the speedo and the bezel listed seperately. Is the glass attached to the speedo or the bezel? If it's attached to the speedo, take it to the local glass shop and have them cut a thin piece of SAFETY glass to fit and attach it with silicone or RTV. If it's attached to the bezel, that part is only like $12.
