freezing struts?

Default freezing struts?

anyone run into front struts freezing up?
is there a quick fix, instead of a heated garage or torch?
does lock de-icer work/wd40 etc?

Nope, I just did some winter riding up in NH. About 60 miles without a problem. Last year it was even colder when we went riding on a frozen beaver pond. No problems with 5 different Polaris quads.

Default freezing struts?

you just have to keep greese in them not water and you won't have a prob heat them and melt everything and pump water into all of your greese zerks pump it untill all of the water mud and old greese comes out and you see new clean greese then you shouldn't have a prob.

you can't really grease the shock, what i found on mine is that the reason it froze was because the shock that was freezing was blown, i don't know how long you've had your wheeler, but this one had 5500 miles on it when it was shot, so they both needed replaced, cured the problem after that.

you shock would have to drain all of teh oil out and fill with water becore that would happen i think the a arms are more commen i think i may be wrong.
