I've got EPI HD springs as well as a 1" lift in the front and it sits 4" higher than stock. I have over 1500 miles of hard riding and plowing on stock front axles and boots. My rears are Gorillas only because I blew 2 boots a LONG way from my truck and toasted both outer joints in the process. I wouldn't be afraid of a Rubberdown lift or HD springs or both.

There is a picture in my pics that shows the differance between mine lifted with 27s and my buddy's with 26s. There was over 4" differance so I figure 1/2" for the differance in tires and I'm 4" over stock
