Default wrench on screen

I went out to ride my 800, when I started it up there was a blinking wrench on it, what does this mean, would I just have to change the oil or do you think there is something majorly wrong

i believe it means it is time to have a service done. as in change the oil and fluids and grease er up. not sure though. someone else will be able to tell you for sure.
you might want to check your manual and see what it says

It's just a service interval reminder...You can program it to come on at different hour intervals just as a reminder for you to do your maintenance....It's all programable in your diagnostic mode....
