2004.5 Sportsman 400 electrical problem

I suspect that the problem that I described above is due to a faulty ECM, but I am not positive. I was wanting to look at a troubleshooting guide to narrow it down and make sure that the ECM is the problem before I bought one.

did you read this post? check under the web address that harley put up to see if that your ecm is the same as he describes. it might help you in locating if its one of the bad ones. just a shot.
