Dose anyone know of any place that sells an aftermarket stator that will fit a 2003 sportsman 700.

 

Stator gone bad on a 2003..........Did you burn it up??.............Caper.......

 

No, I only get 21 volts out of it when tested. The service manuel says it should be 34 volts. It starts fine then after about 5min. it dies and will not restart, it takes several hours for it to start again. And when I test it after it dies there is no volts from the stator.

 

Did you price one from the dealer?
I really don't know where to direct you for a replacement!!
Did you try a search or on e-bay.........Only thing from e-bay it may be used!!

You could also try a salvage yard....if you can trust the used part!!
I would not want to buy a used Electrical part on-line or through mail-order !!..Would you??

Look on e-bay there is someone on there that rebuilds stators.
