happy follow up...
got the A-arm in tonight... very easy install... everything fell together like Polaris had planned for this to happen this way...
I smashed a tree at 20 mph right into the tire... all i bent was a tie rod and the A-Arm... 3 bolts on the a-arm, and 2 on the tie rod and i was done....
longest part was the alignment process... i did it by my self, but it got done... i got 2- 1'wide by 3' long pieces of plywood and laid them against the tires vertically... got out the tape measure and kept moving the tie rod end in and out untill i got the front/rear of the tire with 1/16th of the other... drove it down the road and it tracked nice and straight...
it rides like new now.... gotta love Polaris.... I strongly recommend them now to all that ask... This could have been ALLLLOT worse then it was...
i learned my lesson... don't screw around in 2x4 going 20 through the woods in 3' of snow or it will cost you... who woulda thought....
I also am going to wear my helmet from now on.... i was really good about it, but i started getting more and more lax, then this happend... if i hit head on i would have hit my head agaisnt the tree and been knocked out cold.... i was lucky...
overall... easy fix... i am one happy guy... I LOVE POLARIS!
