I bought a viper winch and th setup was not to bad but the second time i went to use it it broke both times it seemed to bog down it is a 2500 lb winch and it should have enough power to pull me and my polaris sportsman 600 out of the snow when i went to pull my son on his honda 250 out of the snow it bogged down when i went to pull myself out somthing snapped inside and the spool when free
I AM NOT HAPPY!!!

mine works great , been over a year now and i've used it dozens of times.. 3 times today alone. i have seen other break the spool but usually it occurs when the cable wraps up all on one end and binds the drum
