Who cares!!!
Anybody with half a brain knows that these quads are from different worlds, ones a "semi sport" two stroke and the other's a utility.
Who do you think is going to win.
But really FKNA thanks for picking up my slack wi'll I was gone, I would of never thought of a topic kodiak vs. scrambler.LOL.

MrMan,
I'm not much for walking the crossing first. I just hit the gas and go. Sometimes that gets me into trouble, but it's also just plain fun.
I have ridden the entire length of the trails down the creek. But I don't know the names of different locations. Whereabouts is this so called devils hole?

Me and a buddy, me on my Kodiak, he on his Grizz, were both stuck in a mud bog, probably about three feet deep. Along comes a guy with not one, but two kids with him on a Sportsman. He proceded to go through the mudbog, hit reverse, then back through it. I own a Kodiak, obviously, and I know it is no match for a Polaris when it comes to mudding.

Hmmmmmmmm.......lets see.....a 400 Explorer has a stock hp rating of 38 a Kodiak has what, 19 or so? The Explorer has true fully locked 4wd a Kodiak 3wd untill you get one wheel in the air then you have 2wd. The Explorer's top speed is 60-63 mph (stock) the Kodiaks is a helluva lot less judging from the one I spanked. Now let's talk ground clearance..... ahh what's the point we all know which one has more. Then if we get bored we can always compare suspension travel numbers (Kodiak comes up short again) It sounds to me if any Explorer ever gets even a close run from a Kodiak then the Explorer rider needs more courage, more practice or both. Oh ya how far will the kodiak ride a wheelie?
