MrMan, definitely sounds like my type of crowd. Shoot me an e-mail at the house and we'll hook up this weekend.

At Spring Creek I have mainly done the creek. There are only a couple of times that I ventured away from the creek back into the woods. Really didn't find anything interesting. Then again, it was during the summer time and I liked the fact of crossing the creek here and there so I could cool off.....So I would like to check out this Devils hole that you speak of and any other interesting spots you can point out.

Yes, I have a winch. Since I do a lot of riding alone, that is the first thing that I put on. I'm still new to the sport (got my quad over the summer) and only people I know with quads are ones that I have met through the forums.

What time are you wanting to get started on Saturday?

What a fun post. What a ridiculous post. The Kodiak is a sophisticated machine good for tight woods, women and small children. I have only ridden one once and almost flipped it in the first 2 minutes. It is narrow and tippy, though a nice piece of machinery. I would reccommend it to a small person who doesn't want to go very fast and lives or rides in the woods.
I'm trying to squeeze horsepower out of my new H.O. Got K&N, white spring, AAEN long duration cam, messed around with a megaphone, airbox, thinking about the 42mm TMX Mikuni Flatslide carb. Maybe a larger tailpipe on the stock muffler. I'd take a Raptor if they'd do a
desert racer package with +1"+2" A-arms and fully independent rear suspension, bigger tires and wheels, and wider stance. But those straight axles and low profile tires don't cut it around here. Guys with Raptors can't get out of the parking lot. We got rocks, lots and lots of rocks. That's why it's called the Rockies. What's this about a new Grizzly with I.R.S.??
Maybe I could put the Grizz I.R.S. on the back of a Raptor?
Silly Later,,,,Fourlix

Fourlix that was a neat post. Apparently you fit the criteria of roughly %20 percent of otherwise cool Polaris riders:
1) Always bash OWNERS of other machines.
2) Drool blindly over your own ride.
I own a Kodiak but I'm not a kid and my wife assures me I am indeed a male (maybe you need some help telling the difference?).
Some women riders put some guys to shame on any ATV so I guess your recommendations ain't worth ****.

Fourlix,

"I have only ridden one once and almost flipped it in the first 2 minutes."....Would you like for me to give you some riding lessons before your next ride?

My honda foreman es450 will do any thing your polaris will do. And a rubicon can probably do better than it.

Now look at you, your puting down your own brand that your suposively defending. Thats mesed up
U actually think a polaris will beat a honda at mud, or hills, or anything else you can think of. Come on, just say it, Honda really is the best, but don't think I am one of those "Honda Guys" cause I also have a yamaha. Personnally, I trhink it is better than Polaris.

luxuryrider,
Its nice that you like you Honda, but after riding 3 and 4 wheelers since 1983,I was wondering if you could help me understand the areas that make your 450es superiour on hills, mud ect over a Polaris 4wd ATV?

How long you been riding? Are you even legal drinking age yet?

Bill,

I bet the little ******* even voted for Hillary Clinton. Such a bold statements about Hondas and he does'nt even own one. Sounds like your typical bed wetting tree hugger.
