Hey quad 4 thanks for the help and advice I know this has been asked b4 but have you seen any trouble with this mod like say the switch getting to hot or the battery draining to fast things like that?

I had no trouble yet... with switch and battery. I run 3 light mod, warm hand and thumb at the same time with no problem. all light draw 127 watts total, warm hand 22 watts, thumbs 12....can't remember exactly....so total of 161 watts out of a 350 watts alternator. I ride 30 mph on my normal winter trail riding.

Overloading the headlight switch would be my concern and why I think using a relay would be better. That said, I did the diode mod and have not had any problems although I don't ride for long with all three lit up.

Well it looks like quadovator uses a diode in there kit. I think I even read on there site that it is a heavy duty diode that they use probably same as the radio shack one.
