Stendori, the 26" Swamplites probably won't fit, I ordered the 25" and the 25x10s stand 26" tall in the rear and are pretty close to rubing the back of the foot well, any bigger and it would be a problem on my Hawkeye. Mongrol has confirmed that the tire location is the same between the 300 and 400 so you would probably run into the same situation...The 25x8s up front have plenty of room. This is measured aired up with 5# air on the stock rims.</end quote></div>
well i beleave i just proved your statement true when i tried to put the 26" on. so 25" is going to have to do i guess.

i woud recamend going to your dealer cus if you dont get the right size you could have some major problems and could look werd. it may not be the cheepest but your going to get hte right thing.</end quote></div>
welcome to the forum. getting differnt tires on sportmans arent a big deal as far anything going wrong as long as you have the clearance for the tire size your looking for. on this specific bike(08'sp 400 a 25" would be the biggest you can go because of the tire hitting the rear foot wel area. i myself go on tread design and the strenght of the tire in plys to make a good choice.
