Default Mud stains on plastic

They sale this stuff in a air can that is like spray plastic cover. After you get the residue off and it is "Nice & Clean". Then spray this stuff on. I think it is just dry silicone spray. Do not spray on hand grips, seats and floor pegs....Ohhhh its slippery...Trust me!

Keeps mud and dirt from sticking.....works ok.

Topkote Finishing Spray.
made by Liquid Performance.

I have used the WD40,Armourall and Pledge before and they all help to a point. For White atvs I use the Bleach-white side wall cleaner then when washed use Armourall Tire Black on the whole thing outside then WB$) under the fenders, frame and engine.

I use baby oil mostly, some people say not to use it cause it will dry out your plastic, I spray it all over the wheler and then wipe it in real good, the mud stains can be removed by spraying white vinegar on the Aluminumparts and the plastic let is soak a few minutes and wash it off

Magic eraser?? Not sure if it would scratch the plastic, I wouldn't think so. I use them on my white fiberglass boat. Those things are amazing. The stains that don't come out after a good brushing, soap, power wash, i'll hit with the eraser, the stains are gone instantly, leaving nice white gelcoat. Great product that I think would work well on the atv.

Howdy Wenty.....I have found that the Magic Erasers are very abrasive. Check the caution note on the box the erasers came in. I would use very little pressure on the pad if applied to clean any plastic. Never use on any TV's or flat screens. That's my 2 centavo.

Wait a minute is this Magic Eraser the thing
that has been reported on TV as the chemical
burning the skin of kids who have used them for
cleaning up (in schools and stuff)?

Is it a Mr.Clean product? If so you might want
to google that, just a thought!

Check out this link and then you can read. I wouldn't
use it if it can burn your skin.

It is the mr clean magic eraser. Wasn't sure if it would damage the plastic, seems it may? I'll continue to use them on the boat though. They do work wonders on the white gelcoat and don't scratch it.

I would use gloves to avoid contact to skin. Even posting this I am well aware that many
of our products we use are very abbrasive to skin, and I can tell ya I have had my fair
share when using cleaning products been when I see very EMPHATIC language on Skin
Burns, that is all together different! Pledge is cheap, Polaris recommended, nice protection
and shine and ya always need to re-apply anyways after mud and wash, IMHO.

Happy detailing and trailing!

Interesting as I use them all the time, searched it, seems they aren't chemical burns. They're abbrassive burns from rubbing the eraser on skin, the label warns of that. There are very few chemicals in the eraser, none that will cause chemical burn.
