Anyone got a good tip on easily removing those annoying factory warning stickers without damaging the plastic. What solvents are safe?

I found the best way is to heat it up with a hair dryer, peel it off, then remove the left over adhesive with paint thinner.

I found a hair dryer didn't work well.I used a heavy duty heat gun.Be careful(don't melt the plastic) and heat from the back when you can.It still took me 2 hours to get those tough boogers off. They came off in little pieces.Polaris doesn't want them to come off!!

I concur with quadfather. I tried several things including sticker remover, brake cleaner, wd40, and brake fluid. Nothing worked as well as a hairdryer. Just warm the sticker up and gently peel the sticker off. I then use wd40 to remove the sticker adhesive left on the plastic.

I agree with quadfather too! Hairdryer works the best the problem with the heat gun is you get the sticker too hot and they come off in little pieces. If you just warm them up (not to hot) they will peal right off all in one. Take it slow though if you peal too fast they just come off in pieces. It will take a good hour. Including clean up. I used some GM tar and road oil remover to take off the adhesive. Have Fun!!

You have to use a hair dryer and alot of time.It makes you mad you think the whole sticker is going to come off when you start peeling in all you get is little pieces of the sticker. Once your committed you have to finish because it looks like hell.

Hey Guys~
What worked for me was a 2800 PSI pressure washer. Once the stream of water got under the sticker, they were history! Also my dad just acquired a hot water pressure washer, so now I'm just waiting for the weather to warm up so I can degrease my machine!

Thanks again!

I took off 20 stickers last night (all three bikes) in just about an hour! The hair dryer worked best when used from behind.
