yes i try to do that to. i was thinking maybe a inline feul filter would mybe work

but that cap with the whole in it is a tight hole can water reely get in it it takes some presure just for the water to come out of it and then it enogh to shoot 2 feet.

If the rad is hot and you dip it into cold water it will suck antifreeze from the overflow. If the overflow is under mud or silty water it WILL suck into the overflow. I cleaned mine out and it was full of clay looking crud and I flushed the engine and rad and it was still pretty clean thankfully. I would recommend snorkeling the overflow if you even ride near water LOL Anything can happen

o ok now i get it i don't go that deep with my 2/4s often only once in a long while when i go riding with all of the guys with sportsmans and they hook the chains up before teh river haha and drag me threw it i wish i had a vid of it.

yea i am thinking about the filter idea and a fine enogh filter to catch dirt particles in mud would not let teh water flow even if it is clean. your deff better off with the hose on the cap.
